CONSIDER: Amateurs built the ark Professionals built the titanic

I built A 220 volt 3000 watt electric heater using two ten inch Halogen double ended bulbs 1500 watt each.

I use a 6 inch fan to move air around the 4 inch tubes that the bulbs are centered in, this moves the heat air out of my steel box thus heating the area.

Their are a lot of electric heaters out their, I guess I have my own idea of their efficiency, the new  edenpure heaters use a quartz bulb ( quartz/Halogen ?)  , these type bulbs put out a lot of heat.  

I like my heater, it takes the chill out of the air in the fall, my Garage furnace I donot like using till the tempture out side is near freezing
